2019 International Symposium on Roll Forming Technology (Roll Forming 2019) will be held in Guangzhou, China on November 19-21, 2019. Roll Forming 2019 will be jointly organized by The Chinese Society for Metals and China Steel Construction Society.

With the rapid development of world’s steel production and consumption, the important role of roll forming technology has achieved worldwide acknowledgement in many industrial sections, such as construction, automobile, bridge, etc. In the recent 20 years, the Chinese cold-formed steel industry has been developed rapidly.The annual production of welded pipe reached 60 million tons in 2018. The cold-formed steel producers and consumers are constantly seeking the possibility of increasing strength, improving the fabrication and service performances, and also continuously working on the way for simplifying process and reducing the costs.

Roll Forming 2019 aims to further enhance the close cooperation among steel enterprises, research institutions and cold-formed steel manufacturing companies, through the extensive exchanges on the experiences and latest achievements of the research, development and application of roll forming technology.
